Figured it was time for an update seeing as the "To Do" list was posted over a year ago. Knocked off most things, and made better improvements. Uploading to other hosts seems to be working a treat, though this will only be needed if this server is overloaded.

The big news is that there is a new AutoPoster taking a byte out of every show it can get its bits on, from then the show gets replicated across the other hosts.

IOS streaming is still under development, Still a good possibility too, might just make it for the latest shows though, need to check the quality of videos too CPU power is hard to come by.

Mirrors are now being created, I've ran a linkchecker thorugh the lot and there was only about 0.5% dead links which is ok I guess.

Currently mirrors are being created for FileServe, FileSonic and HotFile. If one is going to be ditched its HF, as it has slow uploads. To complete the run through the entire database will take another couple of months but once the initial replication is done I'll instigate a system that will allow for auto replication on files if they expire/get deleted.

So my host got taken over by an american company, they recovered the databases taht they corrupted in the move, so prob need to fin a new host soon.
I've been working on a mirror making device which'll be going live soon, also means I've got to run a link checker over the whole database to quash all those dead links. Might delete the existance of any multi link episodes too. Single links all the way.

Well it took a while to get up there but finally cracked the 1k mark, stepping over the edge with NBC's new show "Perfect Couples" (yeah if i'd have known it was going to be a milestone show i'd have made it cooler)
And seeing as i'm writing this i'll now announce the tweaks to the Autoposter... Now its running aria2c to do its downloading so its multithreaded and will be posting faster! and once the kinks are ironed out it will also be posting way more shows! (and hopefully not skipping any episodes)

I've got movies uploading too now but they are still a while off before I make a site for them. Music will be the next frontier when i come to it.

My To-Do list is getting pretty fat these days and not really getting worked on but I figured i'd share it.

Some of the things i've got an idea on how to do, some i'm still pondering, but as I'm trying to rewrite it with JQuery & AJAX (Which i cant code) I've found out where i'm getting held up at the minute.

My #1 concearn at the minute is to make links bulletproof so that this sweet sweet collection doesn't go to waste, as I looked at the once prosperous sinless links the other day and the content is minimal due to links getting reported. My uberawesome plan at the minute to deal with this has been formed... just need to put it into code. But it'll mean users can report links dead

Also with the next version will come way more tools for analysis of traffic, which you can see some of the precursors in the database mods, But first things first I need to Protect Links, Get the new/non-Dreamweaver site up then throw things over to my awesome CSS mate which will mean as many different layouts as Zen Garden

Other News
*AutoPoster is back online after a short outage... Server went offline and hasn't recovered, but thats what i get for buying dodgey servers, new one is ok I suppose, but I'm going to rewrite that script too to include more shows.
*Were about to hit 30k Episodes or 1k Shows, don't know which will happen first
